What you'll learn
Get clear on how you are stuck in specific patterns (whether yelling/anger, anxiety, overthinking, depression, trauma, emotional eating, guilt or simply feeling stuck and lost), what's really blocking you, what it's costing you, what is at the root of these patterns and how to break those unwanted patterns
Identify where you want to get to instead
Navigate your identity as woman who is also a mother (whether you are a new mother or an experienced one) and understand how matrescence (the process of becoming a mother) impacts your patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving for the long term and become the mother you want to be
Learn how to value yourself, put yourself back in the picture as someone who matters and prioritise your own needs beyond simple self care, including learning to sleep better (you will love this one!)
Understand a) how the sociocultural context you grew up in and now live in shapes how you think, feel and behave AND your sense of identity b) how these factors can get you stuck in the negative spiral of overthinking, perfectionism, excessive worry and guilt c) how to begin to shift the thinking about who you should be that keeps you stuck, angry, resentful and unfulfilled
Understand that 'mother' is a social role that impacts how we view and define ourselves and sets us up for failure and loss of identity when we are not aware of it
Understand what maternal anger/rage actually is, where it comes from, how it fuels guilt and how to ease it
Learn to ease anxiety and regain control
